UNDERGRADUATE

There are two Bachelor programs of study: Bachelor of Sacred Literature and Bachelor of Arts.  

The Bachelor of Sacred Literature has the following majors available: Preaching, Missions, Family Ministry and Counseling, Christian Education, and General Studies. The purpose of the Bachelor of Sacred Literature is to develop spiritual and academic excellence sufficient for entry-level vocational ministry within a local church congregation or para-church organization. LBC will accomplish this through an emphasis on relevant General, Biblical and Professional Studies.  

The Bachelor of Arts has the following majors available: Preaching, Missions, Family Ministry and Counseling, and Christian Education. The Bachelor of Arts, which includes 9 hours of Biblical language, will serve to equip a student academically for admission into graduate seminary. These Bachelor Degrees consist of 54 hours of Biblical studies, 36 hours of General Studies, and 42 hours of Professional Studies totaling 132 hours necessary for graduation.  

Undergraduate Students should expect to demonstrate:

1. Christian character and commitment to ministry.
2. The ability to interpret correctly the Word of God.
3. The ability to articulate the Christian worldview and how to challenge non-Christian worldviews in their chose ministry field.
4. The ability to pursue graduate studies.
