DREAM WITH ME

As the new President of Louisville Bible College, I dream that we will educate preachers and other Christian leaders for Christ’s church:

1.  By building relationships with new, current and previous friends of the College, churches, students, alumni, and community leaders.  In our relationships we will partner with churches and other institutions to uplift their ministries and best fulfill the College’s purpose and mission.  

2. By providing the highest quality conservative Biblical education, excellent learning in general studies, and first-rate

training in practical ministry areas.  This will be accomplished by employing faculty who are academically, spiritually, and professionally qualified.  Faculty will be encouraged and supported in professional development and continuing education.  This area of academic excellence will include the creation of an Urban Missions program and the Urban Missions Training Center.

3. By supplying spiritual growth and physical fitness opportunities.  This will be accomplished by such means as chapel services, relationships, and Christian service projects. We will also fulfill this by providing exciting activities in the area of student life, such as mission trips, book clubs, luncheons, camp teams, off-campus happenings, Student Council sponsored and other special events, and more.  In addition, we will achieve this by providing opportunities in physical exercise both on and off campus.

4.  By improving our campus facilities.  This will be accomplished via campus beautification, reparation and restoration, constructing more classrooms and offices, establishing a prayer room, making banquet facilities, building student housing, and creating a student community center.  

5.  By having in place a core of administrators who will bring together their spiritual gifts and resources in order to implement policies and lead the Institution in the accomplishment of the College’s mission.  

6.  By adding staff positions in order to make the function of the College more efficient and better able to serve our students, administrators, faculty, staff, friends, and community.

7.  By offering church leadership seminars, Bible studies, retreats, and other activities on and off campus for the benefit of individuals and congregations.

8.  By way of quality assurance through gaining accreditation with the Commission on Accreditation of the Association for Biblical Higher Education.  This accreditation will aid our Institution in ongoing self-study so as  to build on our areas of strength and improve in our growth areas in order to better fulfill our mission.

We will be THE premier Bible College for adult learners, and the Christian influence will be increasingly felt in homes, businesses, schools, and other public arenas in the Louisville, Kentucky, area and beyond.  Let’s make the dream come true.
